My name is Michele Rickert, and I am a Commercial Specialist with Insurance Medics. I am originally from a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, and now reside in Port St. Lucie, Florida, where I have lived for the past ten years. I hold an Associate Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sign Language Interpreting.

I began my insurance career in 2000 as a Claims Assistant for an MGA in Michigan and worked my way up to Claims Adjuster and Underwriter. Over the years, I have gained experience with both MGAs and retail agents, specializing in all lines of Commercial Insurance. What excites me most about my work is finding solutions that meet our insureds’ needs and ensuring that what matters most to them is fully protected.

I currently hold my Florida 2-20 Property and Casualty General Lines Agent License, have completed pre-licensing for the Florida 2-15 Life, Health, and Variable Annuities Insurance Agent license, and am working toward completing the CISR program with two remaining classes.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and taking advantage of Florida’s beautiful weather. Every day in this career is different, and I love the variety and challenge that come with helping our clients protect their businesses.
